FKM BLACK SEAL MATERIAL

FKM Black, also known as FPM or Viton® Black, is a fluoroelastomer with outstanding resistance to high temperatures, ozone, weathering, and a wide range of chemicals.
This material demonstrates excellent chemical resistance against mineral oils, sulfur-containing lubricants, HFD fluids, crude oil, and sour gas, making it a reliable choice for demanding sealing solutions.

FKM Black is commonly used in applications where durability, long-term stability, and resistance to aggressive media are essential.

However, it has certain limitations: FKM Black shows reduced resistance to anhydrous ammonia, amines, alkalis, ketones, esters, hot steam, and low-molecular-weight organic acids.
