COLOR – WHITE POM (POLYACETAL)

POM, also known as polyoxymethylene (polyacetal), is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic valued for its unique physical and mechanical properties. With excellent strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability, POM is a preferred choice in a wide range of industrial and engineering applications where long service life and minimal deformation are required.

One of the key advantages of POM plastic is its low moisture absorption, outstanding wear resistance, and excellent chemical resistance. It maintains its properties even in humid and aggressive environments, making it ideal for demanding conditions.

POM is highly compatible with mineral oils and fire-resistant water-based hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC), which expands its use in sealing systems, POM bushings, and precision mechanical parts. However, it is important to note that POM is not resistant to strong acids, bases, and oxidizing agents, which must be considered in specific applications.

LOW MOISTURE ABSORPTION
