PTFE-3 MATERIAL TUBES

COLOR – BRONZE PTFE-3 (POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE + 40% BRONZE)

PTFE-3 is a bronze-filled PTFE material (approximately 40% bronze powder), designed to improve the mechanical strength and wear resistance of standard PTFE while preserving its outstanding chemical resistance and wide operating temperature range.

This composite combines the low friction coefficient and excellent chemical resistance of virgin PTFE with the reinforcing properties of bronze, resulting in superior dimensional stability, reduced creep (cold flow), and enhanced heat dissipation. These properties make PTFE-3 the preferred choice for sealing and sliding applications under high load and dynamic conditions.

KEY ADVANTAGES OF PTFE-3

High mechanical strength

Bronze filler increases load capacity, wear resistance, and lifetime of PTFE bushings, bearings, and guide rings.

Improved creep resistance

Compared to virgin PTFE (PTFE-1), PTFE-3 shows significantly reduced deformation under long-term pressure.

Wide operating temperature range

Stable performance from –200 °C to +260 °C in both cryogenic and high-temperature environments.

Low friction coefficient

Ensures smooth operation of PTFE seals and sliding elements, minimizing wear and reducing energy loss.

Better thermal conductivity

Bronze improves heat transfer, reducing the risk of overheating in critical components.
